三清山坐落于江西省东部门户上饶市玉山县与德兴市交接处，距玉山县城50公里。因玉京、玉虚、玉华“三峰峻拔，如三清列坐其巅”而得名。风景区总面积229平方公里，最高峰玉京峰海拔1819.9米，为怀玉山脉的主峰。怀玉山因“天帝遗玉、山神藏焉”，风光无限，别具精神而得名。

三清山集天地之秀，纳百川之灵，是华夏大地一朵风景奇葩。她兼具“泰山之雄伟、黄山之奇秀、华山之险峻、衡山之烟云、青城之清幽”，被国际风景名家誉之为：“世界精品、人类瑰宝、精神玉境”。她以梯云岭、南清园、万寿园、西海岸、玉京峰、阳光海岸、三清宫、玉零观等十大景区。

三清山以“绝”惊世。峰峦“秀中藏秀、奇中出奇”，是“云雾的家乡，松石的画廊”。奇峰怪石、古建石雕、虬松丽鹃、日出晚霞、响云荡雾、神光蜃景、珠冰银雪异美无比。“司春女神”、“巨蟒出山”、“观音赏曲”惟妙惟肖。旅行家赞曰：“揽胜遍五岳，绝景在三清！”
三清山聚“仙”显名。玉京、玉虚、玉华摩天柱地，峻拔巍峨；蓬莱、方丈、瀛洲翠叠丹崖，葱郁流丽；瑶台、玉台、登真台松奇岩怪，空灵清虚；龙潭、玉帘、冰玉洞飞瀑流长，洒脱飘逸；猴王献宝、老子看经、妈祖导航氤氲飘缈，浑然天成。

巨蟒出山

三清山得“道”弥彰。东晋葛洪“结庐练丹”于山，自古享有“清绝尘嚣天下无双福地，高凌云汉江南第一仙峰”的盛誉。宋尤其是明以来三清宫等道教建筑依山水走向，顺八卦方位，将自然景观与道家理念合一，方圆数十里，道风浓郁，道境昭然，玄谜隐奥，有天下第一露天道教博物馆之称，今有人考为明代失踪皇帝--建文帝朱允炆终隐藏身之所。

The Mount Sanqing or San Qing Mountain is a renowned Taoist Mountain located 50 miles north from Yushan, Jiangxi Province of the China with an outstanding scenery. San Qing literally mean 'three distincts' in Mandarin as the San Qing Mountatin is made up of three main summits: the "Yujing Mountain", "Yushui Mountain" and "Yuhua Mountain".
A Chinese phrase “三峰峻拔、如三清列坐其巅” (“Three steep peaks, like the Three Pure Ones sit the summits”) explains why it was named San Qing. Amongst the three hills, the Yujing hill (1817 meters above sea level) is the highest.
The San Qing Mountain had been classified as a national park. It is a famous honeypot in mainland China as well as a shelter for animals and plants. It contains about 1000 species of flora and 800 types of fauna. The total area of the San Qing Mountain is 2200 km². It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008 .
